I don't know if anyone reads these, but if you do, then awesome! I just wanted to give an update to how my IndieGoGo campaign is going to raise money for my superhero pin up series.
It's been about a week and half, and I've collected almost half of my $800 goal! There are still about 40 days left, so please keep sharing and donating if you haven't already. Every dollar counts, and I really want to go beyond my $800 goal to help pay for shoot expenses.
At this momentum, I feel like this is definitely doable, but only with your help!

One of my goals this year is to do more personal projects in between my paid, client based, work. I've already done one, simple, black and white, series for the winter, and now it's time to raise funding for the biggest series of photos yet; Superhero Pin Ups.
Unfortunately, I am not financially able to support this massive project all by myself. Things like costumes, props, set design, makeup, hair, ect. add up very quickly, and are monumentally expensive, necessary costs.

Odd Notes

First of all, I rarely get notes, but when I do, it always seems to be a scam or from someone who wants ME to take photos of myself for them. Beyond head shots of myself for my deviantID, I do not model. The last time another professional photographer took a photo of me was back in 2007 for my senior photo for the yearbook. I'd prefer these types of notes not be sent to me anymore, because they have a tendency to come off as creepy. I'm sure the people who are being legitimate mean well, but I'm not the person to ask.
